This happens every year. Bills, breakdowns and unexpected doctor appointments and prescriptions seem to rain down on me around now.
The car battery gave out on Saturday, out of the blue, so there went $118. There was noone home to drive out and get me a new battery, and I had to be out, so called the roadside assist people to change it.
Ds developed a problem with his ear, so another $50 for the doctor, plus $42 in prescriptions and a referral to a specialist, which is never less than $150. Anyway, you get my drift, on it goes. Sigh.
