Can you have enough? The plumber who was here a couple of weeks ago looked very tanned. He mentioned that he'd caught up with an old friend - he'd spent a week on the friend's boat. The friend had done very well for himself and decided to retire, in his late 40's.
The friend plans to spend his retirement sailing around the world, living off the money he received for the sale of his business - around 5 milllion dollars.
What would you do in retirement if money was no object?

He'd had a couple of businesses, cupcake. One was food that didn't do so well, and I can't remember what the other one was. I was too floored by the 5 million! It must not have been anything I would be able to do or I'd have remembered!
Our neighbour's son married into a very wealthy family. They made their money in pumps. He imported very simple pumps and retro-fitted them with better quality bits which made them reliable.
I was shocked by a tale my father told me last week, of a businessman whose wife had left him. She'd been married before, but this man had been with her for over 10 years. He offered her half his fortune, but she's still fighting to get everything. I don't know why she thinks she's entitled to everything he's worked for over the past 30 years, and it seems she can't find a lawyer who agrees with her, but she's still refusing to settle. He made his money in property development. Oh, and how much money does she think is not enough? Well, $350 million, half of his fortune. My dad was chatting with this man at the local shops and nearly fell over when he heard the story!
