I'm forever seeing these no fee, online accounts mentioned in forums. We've had a couple for years now, and it really seems to be as good as it looks. The boys have each opened their own, too.
I suspect the biggest strength of them is that there's a delay in getting at the money in the account, so there's time to think before spending!
