As today is dh's last day with the company he's worked for since he left school. I can't even bear to think about money today!
He was very disappointed to when the petrol/gas card went - cheap petrol has been one of his favorite perks.
Stay tuned..

I could imagine Violet. It is going to be hard on me too the next few months, I keep thinking I am going to mess something up! I hope this is the start of a really nice period of your lives. If you would like another board instead please let me know! lol.

Yes, poor Violet had been counting down the days. Now she is one day out the other side.

I'm sorry about the things like the petrol card. I know leaving a corporate styled work is hard. I couldn't even look at the building for a long time!

Br, dh was delighted, and I do mean delighted, to go. It's me, the one who pays the bills and does the shopping, who is not so thrilled. Also, it's like going back to pre-school days now that I have not one single day to clean or anything without someone around my feet. Selfish, I know, but I really, really need time to myself on a regular basis. I'm definitely not an extrovert who thrives on company.
Anyway, dh is seeing some people next week about possible employment, although he doesn't want to work full-time.

I can relate to that actually, the part about the bills. I will have lots of time on my hands soon, more than now, hopefully my nature of wanting time alone will still be there when the time comes, which I think will be after the September school holidays. At the moment I am not so sure.
