Oh my....I am in the midst of packing to move and there are packed boxes, empty boxes, rolls and rolls of tape, scissors, unprinted newpapers rolls, bubble wrap and peanuts everywhere...Sigh. You should see this mess.

All I can think about is in a few weeks I have to unpack them..Shew. What a challenge.

I said I would never move again when I moved here but boy, I think God had different plans than I did.

Our home in Columbia will be officially ours either March 31, or April 1. Unless of course for some unknown reason they have to change the date. The date isn't locked in, but as far as I know everything is done and almost ready to sign our lives away. LOL.

This home here has had tons of callers, lookers, bidders and even two sets of folks who wrote up a contract. Neither of those could get a mortgage without a co-signer.

But...the good thing is that the second contract writter's time will expire in a few days and if they can't come up with a mortgage we have a guy that wants it badly and has CASH, yep you heard me right, CASH. I am hoping for the CASH deal as things will be much faster either dealing with cash instead of closing and a mortgage and all that.

So, I press on. Fortunately, since dh is the MGR of DG he can bring me tons of nice sturdy boxes so I don't have to go hunting for them or buy them. Bless DG.

Every single room in this house is a mess and if anyone where to see it this morning I would die of embarassment. Oh well. I guess soon this mess will be housed at 211 Guardian St. Columbia KY. Yep that is my new address. How appropriate for karlisangel to live on Guardian St. LOL

Well, gals, I am off to see how much I can accomplish today. Dh works a 12 hour shift so he won't be much help but he is coming home at noon and bringing me more boxes. I need some larger ones for large items.

I am sure I am boring you all to death with this fascinating move of mine and with all the Better to Barter posts. Deed mentioined making a sub forum cause the others had been buried deep in the abyss of mine. LOL. Sorry gals. So I did just that last night. Good idea Deed. I made one for Deed and for Michelle and if anyone else would like their own FSOT forum, just give me a holler.

When I get finished I will remove all of my threads or as they sell.

Anyway, if you have read this far, bless you, if you hit delete that is ok too. I am boring myself..so...on that note, I am outta here.

Cheryl, Yep Dollar General. My dh retired from General Motors with 30 years service up in Michigan and we moved here. After we totally remodeled a home on property his parents left him he wanted to move into the city to be closer to my doctors and the hospital so here we are in the city, well.. village, there are no cities close here, lol. Anyway he was bored so he was going to work only 20 hours a week for DG. LOL. That man of mine never stops working. And yes yes yes, you must come and see dh and I when your in Louisville. That would be awesome. Oooo Can't wait.

Thanks Jayne. I am pretty sure I will be happy. Usually I am happy wherever I am. Well it isn't My Michigan but that is ok. At least I can be near to dd and the four babies of mine. Looking forward.
