I love hosting big meals. Years ago I used to be a military wife (long story) and I was usually far away from family so I would host a big dinner anyways for the neighbors or the ones with husbands on deployment or just anyone we could think of. I would generally serve a turkey and sometimes a small ham on the side. Alot of thanksgiving recipes used at Christmas. On each place setting I would put a homemade apple cinnamon ornament and paint the guests names on it. I had alot of fun doing that.
