Just was wondering if any gals know a way or combination of things to make your own lavender scented body lotion? I love the smell of lavender, but sometimes the lotions one can buy are just a bit too much. So I was wondering if I can concoct some mixture to make my own?

Try this Tam.
Lavender Lotion 1 ounce glycerin 2 teaspoons oil of lavender
Put ingredients in a clean glass bottle and shake well. Refrigerate.
you can get glycerine at most drug stores.

Also, I would think that you could buy a good lotion that is scent-free and add the lavender essential oil to it

Tam,
just be sure to buy a good quality essential oil. Probably your best bet for that would be to go to GNC or a health food store, or a store that carries homeopathic things.

I was going to ask you where to buy it, went to the local GNC store last night, they don't carry essential oils. Now where do I check out for it?!!!

Tam, do you have a natural remedy store near you. If not, let me see if I can pick you up some this week at the stores I am going to over at Lori's. Also, when you say they are too much...did you mean too strong, or too pricey.
