Gracie brought home a recipe for acorn squash baked with apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. I just hapen to have a couple of acorn quash sitting on the counter and I thought it sounded good. So what kind of apples are good for baking? Can you tell it's been a while? TIA! Man! I'm glad I proof read that! I accidently added an "h" to sitting!

Man! I'm glad I proof read that! I accidently added an "h" to sitting! ROFL ;D BR is right Karen, Granny Smith's are great for baking. Also Northern Spy and I like Macintosh or Cortlands too. Although those 2 are more of a softer apple so can turn in to mush (like suace) when cooked for a long time. Enjoy and let us know how it turns out.
