Mizkan Mirin Seasoning

Today I bought this, not really knowing what it is, although the mirin is familiar. I was a bit disappointed it has corn syrup in it, because most of our food doesn't here.

Here is one of the recipes:

One Pot Broth

2 cups chicken broth or dashi
1/4 cup MITSUKAN Honteri Sweet Mirin Seasoning
2 Tablespoons MITSUKAN Rice Vinegar
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
Pinch black pepper


Combine all ingredients to use as a steaming or simmering broth for meat and vegetables. Makes 2 1/2 cups broth.

Serves 4.
