I don't know if I have ever really liked vintage scarves. I usually have one or two in the house, I suppose I appreciate them, but don't really like them iykwim? In the October issue of Country Home (American) they were saying scarves are hot atm. Designer scarves from the 1940s to 80s. I have seen vintage scarves made into curtains by a quilt maker in Melbourne. ourhouse.ninemsn.com.au/ourhouse/factsheets/db/artanddesign/08/849.asp That was a couple of years ago, in a House & Garden magazine. I used to have this beautiful old scarf that was square in shape and I used it as a table topper on one of those round side tables with a coordinating solid color table cloth underneath. I got many compliments on it. I don't think I would wear them, just not my style but for decorating, I would like them.
