I can vaguely remember using these when I was much younger. Now our milk comes in plastic jugs with lids-- I don't transfer it to a pitcher, so no need for those. Ahhh the memories though

I don't remember them, but I bet my parents do. I do remember Johnny delivering milk in heavy glass jugs and eggs to my grandma's though. She always poured the cream off the top of the milk and saved it for their tea. My mom has not drank a glass of milk since pasturization (sp) came about, she prefers it straight from the cow.
