Dh and I just had a little mini-vacation for four days, our first get-away in two years. After coming home and reflecting on our time alone together, my heart was just filled with gratitude to the Lord for filling our vacation with so many little blessings.
Just a few would be:
~safe travel on our 200 mile trip there and back home
~fairly good gas mileage ($2.69 a gallon)
~a hotel special that I got in our rates due to nearby construction...saved us $120 total on our 3 night stay.
~DH surprising me with a card hidden in my suitcase
~good times with dear friends
~winning at several games of cribbage!
~great weather

It was just so neat to come home from a little get-away and have a heart of joy to the Lord for a simple vacation that refreshed and renewed us.
