14 oz chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coating (or called bark, like for making covered pretzels.)
1 14 oz can can sweetened condensed milk
dash of salt
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c peanuts (optional)
1 - 1/2 t vanilla extract flavoring
Microwave directions:
oven vary in wattage, power and cooking time, so be careful not to burn it! In a 2 quart glass measure, combine candy coating, sweetened condensed milk and salt. Cook on high 5-6 minutes, stirring after each 1-1/2 minutes. Stir in peanut butter, then peanuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. Chill for 2 hours or until set. Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
