Deed, I called her and she sounds so sore and pitiful Bless her heart, (I hate when my sweetie isn't up to par.) She was begining to show signs of her old self after being on with her for a few minutes. They hadn't fed her yet and this was at like 9:30 this morning (8:30 her time) But she is on a plastic surgery ward and they don't feed them on a regular feeding schedule(sp) as most of them are watching their weight. She had several nurses & volenteers in & out of her room doing for her. She can't move her arms yet, so they have to open everything and kind of feed her She was more worried about her lipstick and getting to eat than anything. ;D ;D

Well hey a girl's gotta have her lipstick! ;D I'm glad she perked up some, I can't even imagine the kind of pain she must be in. {{{hugs}}}. They probably won't let her have much of anything to eat yet and when they do it's usually all liquids at first. I know I couldn't wait for that first cup of coffee, hang the food, just give me my caffine! ;D In case I forget to ask, keep us posted please.

Lucie, she had her surgery on the 28th. I spoke to her again this morning and she sounds much better, she didn't sound like she had as much pain as before. She said they are taking very good care of her. Shellie (sister who happens to be a RN ) said they had some trouble out of one of the New nurses on the floor yesterday, that she was being quite rude and hateful to Mother. Had told Mother " Well I don't feel sorry for you, you elected to have this surgery, so you could have smaller breasts, you should have been happy with what you were born with!!" OMG! I wanted to come through the phone and choke this girl! Mother quietly let her know that this was NOT to resize her in any way but to reconstruct what the CANCER had taken away, She then proceeded in calling the Nursing Administrator and had the girl removed from the floor. Mother was a Doctor in the very hospital she is in right now, she retired 2 years ago and still carries a good bit of clout. My poor sweetie was in tears, that she would be treated in such an ill maner. The nerve of some people! Oh my sister was livid, and if she wouldn't have been in any danger of losing her job, I think they would have had to carry this girl down to the ER when she got through with her.
