Denirae (better known to you all as mimi, is having gall bladder surgery in the morning. She ask that we pray for her and for her doctor. She will update me when she is able.
So let's all keep Denirae in our thoughts and prayers.

Update on Mimi. I received the following note this morning from Denirae.

Yesterday was a very long day and I'm glad it's over. Surgery was scheduled for the AM and I didn't have it until 3:30 PM. Should have had that darn ole gallbladder out a long time ago. I feel much better today...just sore. And the crazy thing is my hip isn't hurting...how crazy is that? It's hurt for so long I can't remember it not hurting. And I've not taken any pain meds today. The doctor said one of my stones was bigger than a golf ball.
My mom had her hip replacement surgery on Monday and is doing well. She will be in the hospital for a few more days then on to rehab for 2-3 weeks.
Jim is making me breakfast. I should be making it for him as it's his birthday...
Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Now the hard part, sitting and healing, LOL. I go back to the doctor on the 24th.

Oh wonderful news Mimi! ;D I'm so glad all went well and that hip pain is gone! Can't wait until you come back to us and start posting again, you are missed. You take it easy now and no over doing it so you heal fast!  |
