She is doing great. She looks great, is very very happy and is just loving all the attention, of course.
We are THRILLED to have her home. We have 24 hour nursing care right now; two ladies, each working 12 hours. They seem very nice. We will keep you updated as to how she is doing, which will be taking off by leaps and bounds now!!
We would still appreciate prayers! We want her off the vent and trach asap. We are aiming for Christmas. San Antonio will want her back in February and we want to amaze them with the only baby that "got (healed) out" of the titanium rib project!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your prayers. I can't believe she is home, even now, even with her 20 feet away. I guess it will take awhile to get used to.
Those of you who are in the neighborhood, know that you are welcome to see her. Give me a call first and we will figure out the best time.
Thank you to those of you who welcomed us home, you have no idea how much this day means to me....
