Some of you know that I sit with my grandpa. He is 96, but lives with my parents. He is a great conversationalist and loves people. Always ready to talk about something....the Bible, the weather, etc. When I sat with him on Wed, I read the Bible to him, he had some company and he carried on a conversation with us as usual. Sometime during the night, he had a stroke. He is not talking at all. His eyes are glazed over and he does not recognize any of us. I walked in his room this morning, not expecting that at all. My dad had called me and asked me to stop by for a few minutes. I was so shocked to see how terrible he looked. I have cried my eyes out today. Please say a little prayer for him. He is my last grandparent and I am not ready to let him go. I just can't. I expect to be spending alot of time with him the next several days. So if you don't see me here, that's where I will probably be.

Lynn,
Of course I will be lifting your sweet grandfather up in prayer. I am so sorry to hear about the stroke. And I will pray for you as well. Grandparents are very special. God Bless you.

Thank you, BR, MV and Cara. I spoke with my mom earlier. No change. Now he has a fever. The dr seems to think it's just a matter of time......
