'm just getting home from rushing dad to the ER--- he was finally too
sick to argue with me anymore.
He has pneumonia, high fever, sky high white cell count, dangerously
low BP. They are admitting him to an intermediate care bed tonight,
pumping him full of fluids and antibiotics.
We finally left him, still in ER- as there was going to be a LONG wait
for an IMC bed. Mom was getting very tired, and I needed to get her
home and off her broken leg.

Hi Denise. I'm sorry I wasn't around when you wrote this. I was getting dd's hair ready for ballet, but she was insisting on having a snack and watching TV instead.
I am so sorry your Dad is so sick. I am glad in one way you didn't have to be the boss at work tonight while worrying about your family etc. Did you get the washer?
Has he got a bed yet?
Did you get some sleep?

Dad got a bed around 11:00 pm last night-- on the 6th floor (not my floor).
His blood pressure is up to 82/50 - still not great, but much improved from last night.
He's tired, but so far all they've found is pneumonia.

I'm glad he is resting, but wow that bp is low! I can't even imagine what it was before it came up. Hope he continues to improve. {{{hugs}}}
