I brought another baby in, I know I'm nuts. But this one is Theo's sister and she has never let me touch her before. Now she is so sick and weak, it's not a problem. She is solid black and very silky. I have named her Clarissa. She is doing better somewhat, she sleeps a lot, but eats good and good old mommy Audra took her right under her wing. I'm sure all the loving Audra is giving these babies is helping them to get well.
Tigger, Lucas and Indiana are all very independant, although Lucas sleeps on Jack's lap all the time and cries for me to pick him up and snuggle. But Theo still has an enormous sore on his hind leg. It finally scabbed over so it is starting to heal. Good thing as it must be very painful, last time I cleaned it and applied med to it, he cried and tried to bite me. Poor little guy.
Madeline is still skittish, but finally playing with the other kittens and eating better. She sleeps alone most of the time now, but if Audra comes downstairs and starts calling all the babies, she follows her right back up the stairs. LOL ;D
With Clarissa I think she only has a cold, although for the last few weeks she has had an enormous sore on her neck, but that is just about healed. I tried and tried to catch her when I first saw it and she wasn't having anything to do with me! But now with the cold, I guess she was just too run down to fight me. Sometimes she lets me pick her then she purrs and purrs, other times she runs like a scared rabbit. Oh well all the kids took right to her and no one is bothering her.
Soon as I can, I'll take a pic and show you all.
