We had a little visitor this year. He is a blue-tongued lizard. He lived up the back of our block. He is still around town and we are glad he is OK.

Well umm yea, I am awake now. Shew wee. Looks like a snake to me. I am thinking I am thankful for the little bitty lizard that hangs out at my pond.

I am thankful, that I only see small worms in my backyard....lol... But yes, he does looks nice, BD... You know, Patrick, my ds, has a snake in his class in an aquarium. The kids get to pick him up as a reward when they work well in school....Patrick got to hold him twice so far. He puts him around his neck, too...lol...and guess what's the name of the snake?---Snake. And they have a reptile lizard something, named Goergette. Don't you love what kids do in school, nowadays! ....There were no snakes in my class in 3rd grade when I was a little girl!

He did have an injury when he was a little lizard to his leg/s and that probably makes him seem flatter to the ground. My son told me to be sure to say that he named him, his name is Cooper.

Our eldest daughter loves snakes, you can tell she didn't grow up with alot of poisonous snakes in the backyard like I did! Today we saw another blue tongued lizard like the one above but smaller. We are so excited, he was in the neighbours driveway and we looked at him over a short fence. On the TENTH day of Christmas My true love sent to me Ten lizards leaping, Nine wombats working, Eight dingoes digging Seven possums playing, Six brolgas dancing, Five kangaroos, Four koalas cuddling, Three kookaburras laughing, Two pink galahs, And an emu up a gum tree.
