And I know it, but I couldn't leave the little fellow to die outside!

I brought another baby kitten inside yesterday. He is all black and as sweet as can be. He has a very bad eye infection, I hope I can heal for him. It is so bad, about a half inch of fur is missing under his one eye and the other one is showing signs of getting infected too.

Most of you don't know, but my Peanut that we took in last summer had a very bad eye infection. His went septic and was extremely gross! We had to take the chance when he was tiny, only about a pound or so, and have his eye removed or it was going to poison his whole system and kill him. He is now a bruiser and thriving! ;D

I hope I can nip this little guys infection before it gets that bad.

Alright, I love to shock people, so I am up to 23 in the house now!

And I love them all! ;D

I hope you can get him better deed, sending you prayers for his health. We had a little solid black guy a few years ago but he died from distemper? I think it was, anyway his name was Berlioz

Okay I'm not sure but his name is going to be Ben or Bear. He is so gentle I though of Ben, but he is cuddly like a teddy bear too. His eye is doing better with regular cleaning, about a dozen times a day. I'll do what ever it takes. He isn't wild about the cleaning but once he figured out I was helping him he calmed right down and now purrs as I do it. You do have to remember to use warm water though! ;D

NO Ellise, no cold water, they fight me like crazy then!

His name is Bear, or Teddy Bear as I call him. He is doing very well, both eyes are clearing up now. Whew... I was nervous there for a bit. He is a sweetie pie so calm, yet plays with the others. ;D

But some others have problems. I still haven't gotten the sore on Theo's leg to heal, now Maddie has a bad eye thing going on along with Popeye. And poor little Trixie has such a cold it is awful. She is actually sleeping sitting up so she can breathe. I'm doing all I can for her, meds and forcing fluids and food, but the fluids and food she fights me on terrible. I know I don't feel like eating when I'm sick either, but she weighs less than a pound, so I keep doing it.

I'll keep you all apprised of how they are doing in the coming days.
