Have to take all 6 of my little boys and drop them off, they are getting snipped tomorrow. ;D Good thing too as they have been 'playing house' now for weeks! This was the fastest I could get them in as the vet's surgery schedule was backed up. It is mainly Tigger and Indy that are the culprits but they all need to be neutered so they may as well all hurt at the same time.

Ouch! Hope their recovery is quick. I think the boys tend to bounce back faster than when we've had to take the girls in.

Whew.... just got home with the boys and boy can they holler in the car! It is about a 30 minute drive from the vet's and they sang the whole way home. LOL All are doing well except they all have ear mites, so now I get to treat all my kids twice a day for 10 days. Oh boy sounds like fun, NOT! Now I really have to have that yard sale! The bill was ...... are you ready? $903.10! But that included neutering, shots, boarding/hospital costs and ear meds for home for all 6, so not as bad as it could be I guess. LOL

LOL I thought it was going to be a lot more--especially for all 6. Joey was $400 for his neutering, and he didn't even stay overnight! I'm paying off a $1700 vet bill from his surgery a few weeks ago, and now the little bugger has "the runs", so I had to pick up vet cat food today--almost $1/can. I am really hoping it clears up by Monday, or I'll have to bring him in, and Dave is going to be so mad. Anyway, sorry I hijacked your thread. I'm glad they're doing well, and I hope their recovery is quick!

Actually I thought it was going to be more too, but I think he knows he has a lifetime of business from me! ROFL ;D Each one was $147.60, he only charged $75 for neutering and $25 for anesthesia, the rest was for 1 night boarding as I can't keep them from food/water the night before and they got their shots too. I have to take them back Apr. 10th for their boosters. As to Joey's runs, see if he will eat some canned pumpkin, NO SPICE type, just plain ole pumpkin. Mix it with dry food if you have to, my vet swears by this. And you didn't hijack my thread!

Ouch! Now that I think of it, it could have been worse! Furbabies are almost as expensive as 2 legged babies. Sometimes more I think!
To bad furbabies can't work off their vet bills. With 2 legged kids, they can help pay their way through college, but I still haven't figured out how to get my animals to pay for 1/2 their bills. lol
