As I have been going about my household chores today, I have 2 doggies who seem to think whatever I'm doing is totally their business. Let me tell you, with my valiant attempts to sweep my kitchen floor from my wheelchair, dodging around 8 paws trailing my every move...they make housework a real challenge. Solution? Well, there is one for the savvy dog mom....juggle the *treat* jar, yeah, they know what that sound means. Mom has a treat in her hand for each of them. Gently lure dogs to the bedroom, tell them how good they behave, make them sit, beg for treat, then quickly spin my wheels out the room and shut the door behind me! Yup, that's how this woman can manage to sweep her linoleum floors that cover half her home, by shutting the dogs in the bedroom! A woman has to do what a woman has to do. But then after the floors are swept clean, I open the bedroom door and let the little beasts out, and they think I'm the most wonderful person in the world for releasing them from their prison. (even if they were only in there for 20 minutes!) These two doggies of mine, who like kids, can make doing housework take twice as long and seem to undo everything behind me...well, I thank God for them. I love them to death, they are my greatest company for the long days when DH is at work. Yes, these doggies are God's wonderful creatures...drool and all! Thank you Lord!

Our dog had a special day at the vet. Since we have been moving over the last nearly 3 years he hasn't had a checkup etc. So today was his big day. He got a new collar, his shots and a treat ball and enjoyed his time there.

He is a very spotty German Shorthaired Pointer named Mousse, as in chocolate.

My cats are that way until they the vacuum! LOL then they run. I have one Napoleon that hides if I just bring it out ;D Sissica and Chachi just run and hide in the office (yeah, like I can't reach them in there!)
My dogs (Dobies) stay outside because Aj (the baby he's 3) can't stand to be away from his momma! And Rayns (the mom) has deceided that it is alright for her to jump up on the furniture ;D ;D Besides when they do come in it takes forever to get them out!!! But like you Tammie, I thank God for them, for the protection and frinedship they create
