Do you have a hydrangea bush, tree, etc. If so what type is it and what colour does it bloom.
I have three, a regular hydrangea bush , which blooms greens, turns pinkish and becomes an off white.
I have a climbing hydrangea bush, which is just starting to climb up the side of my home. This bush will attach itself to whatever you start it against. This is the first year mine has bloomed and it is such a pretty pure white.
Then dh bought a hydrangea called Endless Summer. It blooms all spring, summer and into the fall until frost. It blooms the pretty shade of periwinkle I have ever seen.
I will take some snapshots of mine and post them.
How bout you?

I think hydrangeas are beautiful! Yours sound so pretty Car, I can't wait to see them.
We had some across the front of the house when we moved in, but they were so old and in bad shape we took them out. I think my dad was able to coax one to grow, but I can't remember, LOL

Maybe you could of just trimmed them up Dee. Bushes love haircuts..seems some like drastic haircuts. We keep all our bushes trimmed. I knew your Dad could make it grow. Wish we could hire him here at HH as our resident Gardening Guru..Think he's mind..

I love them too. My Mum and Nana both had them, and Grandma. I always did, but both our last houses didn't have a south side, read north side in the US.
Maybe now I have more shade I could rethink it.
