I've never had roses before. I got a small rosebush for Mother's Day. It sat in the too small planter for too long and we thought it was a gonner. Well with a little TLC it's thriving! When I watered it yesterday I saw 1 bud about to bloom and 4 new buds. Today the one is just opening and there are 6 buds!
I also got 2 climbing Don Juans from WM a few days ago. They were looking kind of rough. I've got 3 new buds on those already! Woo Hoo!

Karen will you be leaving them in containers? If so then make sure they have plenty of room. Roses are a very netural loving plant and usually do real well, with regular watering and feedings

I planted the climbing roses by the front porch. They look so pretty there.

You must share about your minature roses with us please braidedrug. I have tried numerous times to grow those. Have no luck with them. I have beautiful roses buses, tea rose, climbers and shrub roses..just no luck with the mini ones.
