Doug will be home soon for a brief time-- we're planning a huge party - open house style at the park in Scottville. I need menu ideas that will feed an undetermined amount of people (we're putting an invitation in the newspaper, emailing family/friends/church members)
We'll have access to refrigerators, sinks, electrical outlets, tables, etc.
So-- what can I make to serve that won't break the bank?
I've done sloppy joes/ nachos so many times. . and Doug HATES tacos.

How wonderful that he'll be home long enough for you to have a party You'll have a great time, I am sure. ;D I'm thinking pasta dishes will hold well since you have access to electricity. Chicken/broccoli/ziti, eggplant or chicken parm. Or can you use a grill? Burgers, hot dogs, sausages/brats, and then for sides: potato salad, macaroni salad, tossed salad, fruit salad, coleslaw, etc. I've done sloppy joes/ nachos so many times. . and Doug HATES tacos.

The last sentence sounds like an Aussie BBQ.
