Ok gals, I have two of these plants. Not sue where I got them or when I planted them. This is the second year they came up. I am not sure what they are but I call them fancy lilies..LOL. If you can identify them please let me know. Dh says I planted them but I can't for the life of me find where I wrote them down and I keep a very up to date and accurate plant journal. Last year they each had one bloom. This year one of them has multiply blooms on it and the other has two so far.

Carolyn, Those look like the lillies I sent you a few years ago, not sure what they are called but I had tons of them growing at my other house, when I planted them here they didn't make it. I think they are Purivian (sp)

Could you? That'd be so great! MIL got rid of all the plants and flowers Don and I planted, man talk about being upset! Hours of work and lots of $$ had gone into those gardens. We took up as much as we could but some remained and she just had them all taken up. Says she didn't have time for them.

How exciting. I think I was given some of those a few months ago. If it is the same one they are street plants in Singapore. Mine aren't going so well, there is not much left, I had to find a place for them quickly, they were a gift along with so many others I had to find homes for at once.
If I find the tag I will pass on the name.
I did a quick search, they are not Peruvian lillies, Peruvian lillies are astromeria (sp?) according to the one I read on a search.

I think you are right braidedrug, I asked Don and he said he thought that the purivan lilies we had were almost black looking, so I bet they are the spider lilies we had Carolyn, anyway the sure look beautiful in your garden!

Mine aren't dead but came up again. I thought something had grown in it's place. However, it flowered yesterday. I might start a new post with a pic.
