I imagine everyone has dahlias or maybe the frost has come. Anyone have a tree dahlia?
At my place, there are tulips, heartsease, azalea, sparaxis, green goddess lily, arum lily, iris japonica, flag iris I think.

At the moment there are grannies bonnets, or aquilegias, evening primrose, or something like it. Roses, california poppies, penstemon, borage, the wallflower is hanging on, that is about it really.

I know Car has hyacinths out now, being in a different season I thought I would put mine here, although you would have probably heard heaps about my flowers already.
We have out some roses, but most are budding up again. Sunflowers of course. While waiting for the seed heads of our cream california poppies they still have little flowers all over them. Heaps of camomile, pink coreopsis, and of course tiger lilies.

I was happy to see also our crepe myrtle, gives you a clue that the hot weather brought it out. Today thankfully is lovely and rainy and cool.

We love hearing about your flowers br. It gives us a breath of spring and summer and makes us hope it will come to the US and Canada soon. :-)
My Crepe Myrtles don't bloom until very hot weather. I think around late August/Early Sept. last year. Aren't they lovely

We will have camellias blooming next month, BR. Do you have those? They are very popular here in the south. And beautiful as well.
We transplanted some lillies. I look forward to seeing them bloom as well as some lantana. We also have an apricot tree in the front yard that smells heavenly when it blooms. And of course, my favorite is the magnolia.
I don't think our azaleas are doing too well. They border a fence we share with a pecan farmer and the sprays they use on the pecan trees affect our bloom time. I would really like to move them....but not right now.

I am a big fan of camellias. Our current house has not much shade, so that doesn't help. There is a variety sasanqua that will stand Australian sun all day and it flowers in autumn right through.
My Nana had quite a few large bushes. I heard a story that a man named MacCarthur who lived in Sydney and developed our merino sheep, also developed camellias and up until recently most people had the similar ones or the same kind of ones that he did.
I bought a Japanese one for this garden, and a white sasanqua edged with pink. The Japanese one thankfully has a little shade from a quick growing buddliea now. I was happy with the color of the sasanqua when it came out this year.
Mum had them when we were growing up along the driveway, we lived in the High Country, they grow well there.

In our last house that we owned, I bought Brushfield's Yellow. I loved the one at our rental property before here, reddish.
Our first home that we had for a long time had three that we planted. Pink.
