I have a question, why do they flower in June-August?

I am not sure why they flower then BR, but I have tried and tried to grow these here with no luck. If anyone else grows them please give me some tips.

I think the biggest problem for me is not to accidently weed them out later on. They are really tiny. I think they flower here in Sept. Oct. I was going to look at some of the photos from my old house. It was interesting that they nearly flower at the same time all over the world.

Here October is the second month of spring. Here is one that grows in KY: "Ranunculus repens 'Flore Pleno' - Doubleflowered Creeping Buttercup Flower Color Height Season Pests Uses Propagation yellow 18" late summer few border, naturalized areas division Performance - Creeping buttercup grows best in full sun with moist soil. It will spread quickly in moist soils and is best planted in naturalized areas where it can spread. It is known to produce an abundance of bright yellow flowers. Comments - This can be an aggressive plant in the landscape. 'Susan's Song' is also excellent." From: www.uky.edu/Ag/Horticulture/gardenflowers/rarz.htm#Ranunculus
