Oh Jayne, they are spectacular!!!. I have two plants. One blooms every couple months but the other has never bloomed since I had it..(5 years) Well guess what, I got up today was washing my hands at the sink to prepare breakfast, looked at it and there was a BLOOM...woo hoo. Tell me what is best for them can you?

I can't wait for the pics to load. I love them, and my last house had a nice window sill, but we grew venus fly catchers I think they are called lol. Now I don't have a window near the sink. The bathroom I could grow them in, bought a cyclamen but forgot what it needed, I haven't had one for so long. It is healthy to have indoor plants.
I don't know if I have seen the blue one before. They look so big, are they big?
You keep the leaves so lovely, well done, very pretty.

Those are beautiful. The second pic of the blue ones doesn't even look real they're so perfect.

Cara, that is so neat that there was a bloom!!! ...I don't do a whole lot special, the pots they are in are bottom waterers, Never over water them, they like to get dry between waterings, lots of sun, and I use violet food in the water... Br, the one in the first pic is huge!!!...we call him monster, and he has produced many off spring!! Chelle , they came out as blue in the pics, but they are a deep purple, weird huh? Lynn, they are about the only plant I can grow!!! Thanks for all your kind thoughts!!!

Jayne they are absolutly beautiful! Mine always died....my mom who doesn't care for plants, is the only one who can make African Violets bloom and strive. My dad, who is a plant and garden freak, can't keep one alive. Imagine that. lol Jayne you have the magical touch!
