I was watching Gardening Australia a few days ago. They were saying salvias were very good for a drought. I didn't know that. But the one we have is tall and did very well on its own at our old house at times. It doesn't seem to wilt.  |

We've got very sandy soil which dries out very quickly, and the salvias have always survived whatever the weather.

I don't know if I am imagining it but the front yard has that awful grey look again. I wonder how long it will be before we can use the hose?
