It's a David Austin rose named Gertrude Jekyll and smells divine:

That is a beautiful rose Violet, thanks for posting the pic. I love the colour.

I was telling everyone last night that our roses are starting to come out. Our new house has a David Austin, but I am not sure I checked for a name. Will have to look again. The previous lady owner bought one rose in each color I think, not David Austins though.

My Friendship rose has lots of spots, which is a little disappointing.
