I am sorry I didn't check the label before we left the new house last night. Grabbed this photo, I love this rose.

Very pretty - does it smell as nice as it looks?

It does have a perfume. DS16 had a look at the tag for me today and it is called Christoper Marlowe and is a David Austin. All the rose have grown to me in an odd shape at the new house, but they are flowering well, and I love the look of the yellow and white mixed with a yellow asiatic around the corner from this rose, which is near the front door along the walkway. There is an enthusiastic description here: www.au.gardenweb.com/forums/load/roses/msg1101082924989.htmlEdited to say that on reading this is seems that is the way it grows? I always thought it looked very English, so that explains it, i.e. it is English.

Homespun asked me how my roses were going. This one is my favourite at the moment. Before the hot weather came back it was very brightly coloured. Not sure how that compared to this photo.
