Ok, it's envy time....

At our regular morning tea, a friend reminded us that she wouldn't be back for 5 weeks - she, her dh, and their friends, a couple, are off to Europe next Tuesday. They will start in London, then country UK, then Paris, country France, Italy, Italian countryside, Greece......It sounded terrific. She's put a lot of time into the planning of the trip, and even though I've never been interested in going, it sounds fantastic.

The highlights that most appeal to me are shopping for fabric in Provence, and high tea at the Ritz in London. *sigh*

Actually if I thought about the high tea for awhile I would probably want to do that too. I saw a DVD of On The Buses today and started raving to the kids about the tea set on the table.

I would love fabric shopping too if I got back into sewing. I do have a tiny stash.

Me I have liked the thought of going to Raffles in Singapore. DH stayed across the road and didn't even go in, although he had very sore feet and not alot of time.

Country UK sounds nice.

I would love to go to Italy....but ya'll know my fear of flying...so guess it's not going to happen.
