In your home. Dh does all of ours. I take everything off the walls, prep the walls, by either dusting or cleaning them down, and patch and sand all the nail holes (trust me I am the Queen of nail holes). Then dh does all the painting. He is such a good painter and never gets any on the baseboards or any place it isn't suppose to be. And never gets much on himself.
Me, well when I try to paint I have it everywhere and looked like I took a dip in the paint can. Dh doesn't like the way I paint either. He says I get in too big of a hurry and roll it too thick. LOL. So I let him do it and besides he enjoys painting the house.
I am the *gopher* and get all his tools ready and run and get this and that. I tear the room apart and put it back together. So I guess I help some.
To be honest unless a woman just loves to paint, I prefer to think that wall painting is a man's job. LOL

Shane won't let me even hold a paintbrush. He, too, is very critical of my "skills." LOL

ROFLOL, I love hearing you use the word skills Lynn. Too funny. That is about how I am. Now I can paint crafty things with the best of them, but not walls...I think painting a room is hard work.

I agree....it is hard work. You should see the look of panic that washes across Shane's face when I mention the "p" word.....it's really funny.

LOL, Hack just said last night when he was finishing up the laundry room that he has two more rooms to paint and by that time I will have changed my mind about colours and want him to start over. LOL

We both share the responsibility. But usually Don does the bigger projects. ;D

So far, I have done the painting when he is gone. That said, I have only done one room with the help of a friend. (her hubby was gone with mine) I think in our next place I am just going to paint when the mood hits.

My dh does most of the painting here. I help out and do the details.... But we don't paint very often. Last time, was 5 years ago.

It is hard to think back. I don't think we have painted anything here. We have been here 2 1/2 years, and we rented a year before that. I would say it was the bathroom, maybe 5 years ago, I think we did a room just before our little girl was born so that is five years ago, I think that was the last one.
He had such a hard time preparing the walls for that room.
