Ok how many of us here have dh's who have "toys" or "projects" or both?? My dh is like a kid at Christmas right now. He just got a motorcycle. (he's wanted one for a really long time, so I finally gave in) Of course, waiting in the wings, we have, a 1980 Trans Am, a 1978 Trans Am to be worked on when the '80 is fixed, and a 1957 Chevy Bel Aire hard top in the auto shop in IL. I told him I don't wanna hear a word about my craft/scrapbooking/sewing/quilting/crochet/etc projects

They all sound nice. I sold my Monaro about 9 years ago. DH had to give up his bike because he didn't have the time to fix it, but I don't think he worries about it too much. How many ccs is your dh's bike Mel? www.cardomain.com/ride/714854

I think all men like *toys* Mel. You know the saying, *the only difference between men and the boys are the size of their feet and the price of their toys*.
Over the years we have had, cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles and a host of other toys for the man in this house. Now he just collects tools. Power tools...But he uses them and so I don't say much.
And like you, I don't wanna hear about my scrap, craft, computer sew, or my gingerbread collection..LOL

oh yeah, we've had a motorcycle, 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers and now a golf cart. He has all sorts of what I would call "junk". He vows it is not "useless".....that would be debateable IMHO. Yep, he's got power tools too and a beautiful set of drums that he plays in the worship band at church. I think his fav toy though, is the TV remote! Drives me nuts switching the channels.... And don't even get me started on the hunting/fishing equipment he has!

Our remote has been put away by dh after he found it outside. I don't know what whomever was thinking when they did that.

Alister's just bought a 1981 Jeep - so now we have two four-wheel drives! I like driving this one! :-) I'll send a pic when I've downsized it a bit.

My Beloved has 2 motorcycles at the moment. We almost lost him in a head on motorcycle accident in October 2003 but by God's grace he was spared and brought home to me. I am the happy co-rider on Beloved's Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad. He has a Honda CX500 custom but it is a collector's bike no really a riding bike.
