well, use your imagination. Dh was here with the 2 and 3 year olds.
The drain from the kitchen got plugged. I guess the dishwasher backed up into the sink and inside it's cabinet. The kitchen sink is nasty and there is mildew in the dishwasher, which is still full of dishes. The kid's sippy cups still have milk in them from who knows when and are in a pot under the sink.
I don't know what that has to do with the washer though, since that water goes into the floor drain. The towels I put in there before I left are still there though. There is not one clean towel to be had anywhere.
Plus he tossed all the kitties outside. I'm not so worried about the bigger ones (14 weeks old?) but the little ones (9 weeks old?), I feel, are to little to be outside yet.
So, I guess I'll re-wash the towels with a little soap and bleach. I'm going to try running the dishwasher with bleach water, hopefully he'll get this unplugged today sometime.
Oh, the aquarium is still outside which means the little one with the fish in it is still on the DR table that is to be replaced with Mom's table. I've got a van full (there's about 40 CASES of collectable Harley beer in there) that I need to get unloaded so I can put the seats back in.
I'm kind of tired all of a sudden, lol. I asked him what he's done for the last 5 days. "I've been taking care of our children!", he said! Oh my.

Oh Karen, I can feel for you for sure. Isnt it interesting that women can stay home and do it all. Watch the kids, clean the house, unplug a sink, wash clothing, etc, and get it done in a day, but let a man take care of his children for a couple day..it spells DISASTER...Hope fully you can unclog that sink, get some towels washed and begin anew...Hugs ...

Oh and Karen, take care in using bleach in the dishwasher, it might ruin your seals. Why don't you run just dishwasher detergent thru it with very hot water and then run it again..

The towels turned out acceptable. The beer's been delivered to my brother. The fishies are back in there bigger home. Mom's table is set up. We frecycled the old one and ended up with a cuter, smaller table for the kitchen in the trade. The sink is draining fine. But, Uhggggg! I don't know what else to do with this dishwasher! I've taken everything out and cleaned it again! I'm going to run it with a little bleach. I've tried eveything else! I might have to get a new one! It's NASTY!
