I finally opened up my wedding dress (was going to see if Brenda could use my veil). The dress is yellowed, and there is a HUGE tear in the skirt. I don't remember tearing the skirt. And the veil was all mashed together-- and there are huge tears in it too. :`( So-- at any rate-- Deana tried on my dress, and was amazed to discover that she could JUST BARELY squeeze into it. She had to suck it up to get the dress zipped. She could not imagine that I was that skinny at one point in my life I weighed less than 100 lbs. when I got married.

Aww Denise, I am sorry you discovered your wedding attire damaged. :-( Hugs
Isn't it amazing how thin we all use to be. I was about 109 at my wedding. Oh boy.

We got out my deb dress around the time of one of our recent moves and took it to the cleaners and repacked it. Nothing was permanently damaged. Maybe they could repair the tear as well?

Sorry about the dress, maybe as Br said, it can be repaired. I too am reminiscing about the skinny young me....at least I've kept some photos and my wedding gown to prove it lol.

Any plans to see if the damage can be undone?
And, ahem...a ZERO?! Ellise, I'm with Lynn - if that's legal, it shouldn't be! ;-)
