Just in front of our house...he was about to arrive home, when a school bus was coming towards him but right facing him....in the curb and she was going quite fast and she hit him on the drivers' side and in front up to the door. The kids weren't in the car but Patrick had jsut gotten out of my friend's car in our parking spot.

The bus driver was driving on the left side of the road...

and she told my dh she didn't him and was distracted by the students in the bus.

I got the phone call at 3h30 from Pierre--he was panicked...the police came and the ambulance as he had neck pains--they didn't take any chances.

I was at my parents'---I had barely just arrived there and my mom drove me back home...

Finally he got x-rays and his neck is ok, except he has sprained muscles. I was worried for him, because Pierre already has 2 discal hernia in the 4th and 6th cervical spine...

He got meds for the paina nd he is knocked out now. He's back home.

We were lucky the bus didn't get him more on the front or lets say the side...he would have certainly have had a broken leg or hip....

In all this I realized I have great neigbours who took care of my younger boys---Daniel (13) and Patrick (8)....since I wasn't there....

another neighbour picked up Pierre at the hospital and another one picked Daniel at a friend's house for us. The neighbours all got to together and made sure my boys were fine until I got home.

Tomorrow we are going to get a car loaned by the insurance company....we don't know yet how much damgae and the cost....thank goodness insurance are paying.

Thank God Pierre and no children have been hurt.

I will post pictures tomorrow. My oldest son took pictures of the bus and car...
