Thanks for showing the pictures Lucie. It was a very tight squeeze, I guess it doesn't bear thinking about. It is hard for me to understand as we drive on the other side of the road, but mostly I get it and my dh thinks it was a bit much. It must have been frightening.
On a lighter note, the bins are the same as ours except ours are kept on the very edge of the curb. It almost looks like our street in our hometown except for the snow lol.
I hope you are feeling a little better today Lucie.

Thanks again for your prayers. She was driving about 30 miles an hour in a small curb. The speed limit on our street is 15 miles an hour...
Well, at least no one is hurt seriously and the car should be repaired and paid for by the insurance. I just hope we won't get a raise in insurance prices after that. This was our first accident and it wasn't Pierre who was responsible...
Linda, so you have the same recycling bins...? That's interesting....We find that when the recycling truck passes they often leave the bins not always close to the road...

Wow, Lucie, I'm so glad to hear your Pierre is OK - the bus was WAY over in the middle of the road.. and she was speeding?? Don't think she'll be driving school buses much longer.... And I think there is only 1 bin manufacturer in the whole world - those same bins are used down my street here in the UK!!! Except they are just for rubbish, recycling is put in large plastic boxes with lids.

50km/hr, that is fast. If the kids distract her it is probably time for a career change. As hard as it sounds. Anyway if you are prone to distractions, speeding is not the ideal is it?
We have two bins at our house. The all green one and a green one with a yellow lid for recycling day. It has paper etc. in it. Most towns in our area now have smaller bins, they are tiny, but we asked for the normal sized one because it is very difficult for our size family to have a small one.

I sure hope that bus driver is given an office job soon. Thank goodness it wasn't worse.
As for the bins, lol, Lucie, I think you're right! We have the same ones as in the pic for rubbish, but smaller. We have BRIGHT blue ones with yellow lids for recycling.

Wow, I am so relieved that no one was hurt. I can't believe all the damage to the car either.
