I'm not sure that I do anymore.

Nope. Our winters don't get cold enough.

I love wool, but don't wear a lot of it, partly because it drives my skin to distraction. The really good quality wools are ok, but too expensive to buy! The cheaper wools are often prickly or itchy.
This year I bought a boiled wool jacket, which I just love. So long as the shirt underneath stops the jacket touching my skin, I'm fine.
I love the way it breathes and drapes, but really wish they could make wool non-itchy.

No I never really wore wool. I am allergic to wool.

I'm like Violet, as long as I have something between, my skin and the wool I am fine. I do have a couple of Wool coats and sweaters that I paid way too much for, but have had for a couple years, and they are still in style.
