I've always worn a sunscreen on my face, with a bit of powder on top to dull the shine, and that's been about it for make up for the past 20 years. Nice and easy, anyhow.
Recently "mineral make up" came to my attention, and today I bought one. It's by L'Oreal, and is called "Bare Naturale" mineral foundation.
The product comprises a smallish, clear container filled with what looks like powder. It has a perforated lid. A larger lid with a brush sticking out of it scr e w s on to that, with another larger lid that sits on top of the whole brush lid. If I could only find a pic......
Anyway, the loose powder-like mineral foundation is brushed on in a circular motion, a little at a time. My dd didn't believe it when she saw it, but it works - it gives gentle coverage and creates a nice finish on the skin. It's much better than a liquid foundation for people like me with fine, irritable skin, and doesn't feel heavy or cakey.
Very exciting new product!
