Kieran has thrush in his mouth and Jen took him to the doctor yesterday...They say it is not from putting things in his mouth, but I am skeptical about that...he is cutting his teeth and he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth...Jen is very clean about his bottles and toys, but I di see her give him her keys, YUCK!!!....Have any of you had any experiance with thrush with your babies????TIA

Yes, I have. It could have been there all along. They don't seem to check for it like when my eldest was born 18 years ago. I got annoyed last time.
Back then I think they used gentian violet. Have no idea if it is safe or not.

They prescribed nystatin drops and told her to get all new nipples for his bottles...I think she should clean his toys with a bleach and water solution...they do that in day cares around here
