Do you use vitamins, minerals and other natural things to take care of and help heal your body? I have always taken vitamins and mineral supplements but it is just in the past year or so that I have really started taking and researching natural things
What have you taken and used that is natural and what is that particular thing used for?
Right now I am taking Estroven. It is for menopausal symptoms.
I take Royal Jelly vitamins which is for energy, and trust me, I can tell when I don't take this.

Yes, I take a number of things. Menopause wiped me out so I'm trying to build back up again on everything. One thing I might pass on is this...............a checker at the store was telling me that she had a lump in her breast and went to a Chinese Dr. After the exam he told her to go hom and take 1000 units of Vit. E every day for two weeks............then come back for a check. She said........that is ALL, just that? He said yes and so she did it and when she went back it was gone! Now, I don't know that will work for everyone of course but, every so often I will do that for about 3 weeks straight and then go back to the regular dosage. I also take the fish oil, 3,5 and 9............you need all three, not just the #3. It helps with the free radicals that seem to always be a problem. I also take joint supplements, as the pads between the joints wear thin, especially after menopause. I take lots of stuff. I figure I have used up most of everything so I need to replenish it all. Energy is a problem with me so I think I'll try the Royal Jelly pills that you mentioned. I'm looking into that natural seaweed extract that I've been seeing on tv lately and how good it is for the body, for Everything. Have you seen that infomercial? It has me interested. I need to read more about it. Sometimes I make a soy protein drink in the morning, with blueberries, flax powder, orange juice and a bananna............ and that is really good for you. I should do it more often than I do though.

Aside from cutting sugar out of my diet and staying away from red meat,( we are not vegetarians but I am really close to o being one) I drink a lot of Green Tea which has antioxidant properties, Ginseng, Hawthorne, B-Vitamins, Viactiv for calcium, fresh fruits & veggies, Soy protein drinks with flax seed either oil or powder. We use Grape seed oil in our salad dressings as well as pumpkin seed oil.
We also do alternative medicine. Herbs Aromatherapy Ointments Noni juice etc... I have a book on Herbology and aromatherapy and just love them both. I have also made in the past a book (printed from computer) about all the herbs and their healing properties, but I got so confused, I think I tossed it, I'll look for it next week and try to share some of the things in it.
