Yesterday at our cookout my sil was telling us how she spent about $300 taking my niece to a doctor to get rid of her plantars wart. All the things they tried were painful for my niece and didn't even work!
So she was telling an aquaintance of hers about it and this is what the lady told her to do.
Take a piece of duct tape (yep another use for it) and place over the wart. Change as needed. Within 1 week my nieces wart was gone!

Yeah, my girls had some sort of warts all over their bodies...little spots. Our dr. told us to put electrician's tape over them nightly, and they were gone within a couple of weeks.

I'm only guessing here, but aren't warts caused by some sort of fungus? If so, maybe the tape suffocates them?

My daughter had a heap of them too. We used tea tree oil. Maybe it is too strong for little kids, so we took it very easy and it still worked.

I've heard about the duct tape remedy too. Wonder if it would work on a mole?

www.wholehealthmd.com/print/view/1,1560,SU_10081,00.html Tea tree oil is melaleuca oil. It is toxic so has to be kept with medicines etc. out of reach. The above link has a suggestion on how to treat warts with it.
