I am sheading sooooo bad. I could easily make a wig out of what falls out of my head each day! Are there any natural cures or is this just part of aging?

Ellise,
I can feel for you girl. I have always had fine hair but plenty of it. When I turned 50ish I noticed my hair was thinning on the side and top alot. I tried everything, even Rogaine for Women. Nothing really helped it. My doctor said that thinning hair is a sign of aging.
I do take vitamins for hair which seem to help some. I get them at GNC and they are called Hair, Skin, and Nail formula.
Also I use special products for thin hair to give it some fullness.
HTH

Thanks Carolyn, Mine isn't thinning just yet (least I can't tell if it is) It just falls out when I brush and wash it.

I think everyone loses about 100 hairs a day normally. As long as you aren't thinning I wouldn't worry about it.

I have that problem too. Sometimes having a trim helps. I have heard that essential fatty acids help. Trouble is at the moment I am allergic to nuts, it comes and goes.
