This is a TV show that is from England, is being aired in Australia and I beleive you guys in the US are getting it next. www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/Y/yawye/Dr. Gillian McKeith goes into peoples homes, invited of course, and looks into their fridge and pantry. She gets them to do a food diary. Then from that she asks them questions about their health and usually predicts what they are suffering from at least in minor complaints, because usually they are young and don't have any major health issues. They also have a couple of tests done. Check the link above and you will get the picture.

I know Carolyn...I should post a warning when my humor is showing. You know, when I was attending WW meetings, our leader encouraged us to eat oatmeal every morning. Now being the southern gal I am, I much prefer grits. But here's my point....the mornings I eat oatmeal, I find I am not nearly as hungry middle of the morning as I am if I eat sugary carbs. Oatmeal just fills me up....I have had to "acquire" a taste for it, though. I did find a WW recipe for peanut butter oatmeal, so I eat that several mornings and I have a good one for baked oatmeal that reminds me of an oatmeal cookie. My kids even like it, except for my ticky middle son......he doesn't do breakfast, he says.

My kids have become good with oatmeal. I love it with brown sugar. Usually though I eat oatmeal in the form of muesli. Today there is not much milk so I am copying what my uncle does and pour boiling water over it, top with natural yoghurt and honey.
