I think we all could benefit from a diet like this.

That is kind of the philosophy of the new show "You Are What You Eat", that is coming to the US.
We made nori rolls and you would think they would be bland to eat with mostly rice inside but they are very tasty. I find it hard to cut the seaweed with my teeth but last time just used a knife and fork. Even better with pickled ginger.
I would love to have other seaweed, can't buy it unless I do it online which I may soon. In the meantime I have instant miso soup. I love the little tiny kelp you can sprinkle on boiled vegetables.
In Australia there is a new chain store called Boost, it is a juice stand at the local mall and all over the place I would imagine. Even V8 juice, do you have that? It comes in lovely new flavours these days, ds loves it. He tried a memory juice, one that improves memory and he loved it. It was at another mall.
It has been cheaper for us to do some vegie meals each fortnight and we love legumes or dried beans.

br. We do have V8 juice here and our family drinks plenty of it (just use the generic)
Daniel and Carey have been doing the Noni Juice have you heard of that? seeweed and Miso soup have been a mainstay in our diets since we lived in Hawaii (93-97).
I think dried bean and legumes are a staple here in the US anymore
I guess it really just took me by suprise when Daniel was talking about "Live foods"

The new V8 is carrot and fruit in nice colored containers, like purple. I haven't heard of Noni juice.
