Anyone interested in doing one of these? If so please sign up here and post some of your needs, ie.. need to lose 5 lbs, 20 lbs, 50 lbs 50+ lbs, Need motovater for healthy choices, exercise, just to cry to. Also if we could tell us what activities you do or are wanting to start. That way we can pair up with the person who can help us to most.
I'll start: need to lose 50+ lbs want a motivater to help with encouragement,healthy choices, and to cry to ;D
I don't do much of anything anymore, I do lift free weights once a week but need to do it 3 days a week, want to start walking, and doing some type of aerobic stuff.
Next anyone?

I have 5-10lb to go. I am just starting to use fitness videos like The Firm (which I just got) and have been walking about 3-4 times a week with friends.
Someone hold me accountable on exercising and watching what I eat. I have been eating and craving junk food and that's not good!

Great idea Ellise. I have 50 +++ lbs. to lose....sigh... about 100 to be exact! But I would be very pleased if I lost 60 or 70 lbs. In fact my goal is to stop gaining and slowly lose it while *never* gaining it all back like I did last time.... I would like to walk everyday...and do some stationary bike, too, for now. I am motivated by regaining some energy and keeping my health.

I would love a weight loss buddy. I need to lose at least 25 and would like to lose more but.... would be happy with whatever. I need motivation to stick to my ADA diet and to walk walk walk

I need to loose about 25-30 pounds to feel better.
I need help in all areas. I don't exercise but I am doing a lot more physcial work than I normally do and it's outside in the heat!
I have a hard time remembering to eat period. But I don't loose weight, my meds are keeping it on me.
I need a someone to nag at me to eat (and eat right), drink water and just get away from this computer and MOVE!!

So how about this? Deed & Car Lucie & myself and we all just keep nagging Mel to help her out, untill we get others to join us! ETA: I will began on Monday, being accountable that is. ~ 1. get a notebook and write down everything you put in your mouth (even gum has 5 calories) ~ 2. Water, Water, Water! (I've seen a beaded thingy that helps you keep track of water intake) ~ 3. More physical activity. If it's nothing but jogging in place, as long as we keep moving!!! ~ 4. Weekly weigh ins! No need to be ashamed, we are working together to get the weight off,look better and feel GREAT! Not to mention the health issuses. ~ 5. Stick with it. I wonder if we could make journals for this as well? You know like our gardening journals.

Yep, Monday. Mel is out of town, but might be back by then. I am with you Deed...I have my lists, my water, food, and lots of ambition. Now I just need a good form of exercise.

Welcome aboard...You have the same amount to loose as Deed and I do so I will put you with us for weight loss buddies..Just post here or you can join in on the journal posts. We just post and encourage each other when we fall off the weightloss wagon and encourage each other with our triumphs. I will add your name to the journal ..Hugs
