I have been eating so much better over the past few months, but these last few weeks have been sitting around eating junk! Help! Has anyone overcome this healthy eating 'funk?' I would love some advice.

Sarah, What I do is everytime I want some thing "junk" to eat I drink a full glass of water, if I still feel like I want it I have 2 or 3 cookies or whatever it is I am wanting. Another thing that has helped me is to grab fresh fruit or veggies to snack on. HTH, I'm here if you need me

Much appreciated, Ellise! I've gotten in the habit over the past year or so eating a lot of fruits and vegetables but the last couple of weeks have been awful to stay motivated to be healthy. No idea why! The water thing is a great idea, as I never drink enough water.

I find that if I have to write down everything I eat in a day, and face the calorie totals for those things, I can stay more motivated.
I think we all have those times where its hard to stick with healthy eating. There's just so much temptaion out there. Hugs, Melody

Seuss34. Would you like a weight loss buddy. Just someone to motivate you into weight loss. We are doing that and also journaling it. Check out the journal threads and sign up for a buddy.
Junk food is hard for me to avoid too. I am diabetic so counting carbs is a must and so difficult. I am trying to drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Let us know how you do. We care.
